The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid shoots in for a double leg but Soto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Reid looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Soto is fending him off so far but Reid persists. Nope, Soto circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Reid is defended easily by Soto.
Luiz Soto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Reid.
Reid gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
