PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Protacio Jawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keon Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cash is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Unsung. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jawo. Cash does a little dance to reset his feet.

Jawo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cash preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Jawo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jawo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cash manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jawo has Cash in his guard.

With the fighters up against the cage, Cash throws an elbow but misses.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jawo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The referee is keeping an eye on Cash - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
