Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between kick ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jordy velazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ass misses the shot to the body.
ass tries to score a power double leg takedown but velazquez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten ass somewhat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from ass.
ass fails with an attempt to clinch.

velazquez tries to keep at a distance but ass has taken the fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
velazquez is refusing to be controlled, as ass sits in half guard.
ass is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because velazquez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
