Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Skinder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Isakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anton Isakov!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skinder throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Isakov.
Skinder shoots in and drives through. Isakov sprawls well.
Skinder is looking to clinch but Isakov is avoiding it.
Skinder fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Isakov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Skinder avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Isakov drives through with a takedown into guard.
Skinder is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Isakov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Isakov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Skinder seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Isakov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Skinder walks away with a smile on his face. Isakov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Skinder is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Isakov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Isakov stands and steps away. Skinder gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marcin Skinder will probably get the nod.

Horrible takedown by Skinder or perhaps it was just good defense by Isakov which made him look bad.

Isakov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Skinder's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Skinder throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Isakov blocks it with crossed arms.
Isakov connects with a nasty looking knee right to Skinder's face.
Skinder lands a right hand that snaps the head of Isakov backwards.

Skinder pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
