Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Hosking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hosking comes to the cage accompanied by War Machine. Alex Wilson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matthew Hosking! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Wilson! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hosking displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wilson. Wilson moves in looking to clinch but Hosking pushes him off. Hosking is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wilson's half guard. Wilson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hosking. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hosking connects with a nice short shot to Wilson's temple. Hosking trying to mount his opponent but Wilson defends it. Hosking moves into full mount! Wilson won't be happy about that! Hosking scoring with strikes but Wilson is staying in there. Hosking goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Wilson is on top in guard.
Wilson gets to his feet - Hosking follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hosking lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilson circles away quickly and effectively. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hosking jumps into guard, dragging Wilson to the mat.
Wilson trying to control but Hosking is working from the bottom. Hosking is pulling down on Wilson's head to control his posture. Hosking on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hosking tries to get out of the position. Wilson prevents Hosking from getting back to his feet. Hosking pulls Wilson in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson trying to control the position from guard on top but Hosking is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wilson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hosking is keeping the position for now. Hosking might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hosking looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wilson wants to control from the top but Hosking keeps moving. Wilson looks gassed! Hosking has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Wilson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hosking misses with a series of wild punches.

Hosking cracks the inside of Wilson's front leg. Hosking checks a leg kick nicely. Hosking lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Wilson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hosking. Hosking obviously looking to wear him down.
Hosking lands a really nice looking cross but Wilson seems unphased.

Hosking decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hosking trying to control from half guard but Wilson is working away. Ground and pound from Hosking.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hosking seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Hosking working over Wilson with some ground and pound. Wilson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hosking thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Wilson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hosking. Hosking keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Hosking thows a huge punch but Wilson dodges it nicely.
Hosking content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Hosking missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matthew Hosking dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Wilson moves out of range of the body kick. Hosking lands a jab. Hosking shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hosking was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hosking working the ground and pound effectively.
Hosking lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wilson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
A nice elbow there by Hosking. Wilson is breathing heavily. Hosking breaks from Wilson's wrist control and lands an elbow. Wilson is in a horrible position here. Hosking smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Matthew Hosking overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hosking lands a big shot there that rocks Wilson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hosking trying to control but Wilson is having none of it. Hosking is working for a guillotine from mount but Wilson frees his head quite easily.
Hosking raining down shots from the mount! Hosking is in the full mount, landing strikes. Hosking lands a big elbow. Hosking knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hosking in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Hosking unloading with bombs! The referee warns Wilson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hosking working away from the top, dropping strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hosking looking to secure an arm triangle but Wilson defends it well. Hosking controlling from the full mount. Hosking raining down shots from the mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hosking lands a big elbow. Hosking landing strikes, looking to finish! Hosking working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Hosking controlling the position easily from mount. Hosking is landing with some decent strikes but Wilson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Hosking scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Wilson?

That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Hosking. Hosking pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Hosking has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Wilson's face.
Hosking lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Wilson hang on? The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hosking with good strikes from the mount here! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hosking cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Wilson is rocked! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hosking postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Wilson looks a forlorn figure.
Wilson is still in real trouble! Can Hosking finish him? Hosking trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matthew Hosking dominated that second round. That's time! Hosking's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
No joy there for Hosking, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wilson seems to have recovered his senses. Wilson keeps the fight on the outside. Wilson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hosking counters with a stiff right hand. Hosking scores with a three punch combo!
Hosking tries to clinch but Wilson moves out of range. Wilson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hosking. Wilson tries to clinch and Hosking counters with a shoot takedown. Wilson fights it but they end up in guard. Hosking trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hosking drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wilson dives on top into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hosking has a closed guard, preventing Wilson from standing up. Wilson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wilson won't allow Hosking to sweep him here. Hosking doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Hosking is pulling down on Wilson's head to control his posture. Wilson tries to free his leg and advance position but Hosking is retaining full guard. Hosking is adopting a defensive guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Matthew Hosking just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Hosking has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hosking tries for a takedown but Wilson manages to get underhooks.

Wilson with a poor takedown and Hosking moves into the clinch. Hosking presses Wilson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Hosking successfully pulls guard.
Hosking is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wilson can do to turn this around? Wilson won't allow Hosking to get back to his feet. Hosking tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hosking is pulling down on Wilson's head to control his posture. Alex Wilson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Matthew Hosking is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hosking manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilson manages to get himself to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Matthew Hosking showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hosking has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
