Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akira Kanehara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Mok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Kanehara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Mok! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mok wants to clinch up but Kanehara keeps it at a distance. Mok scores with a leg kick.
Kanehara fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A solid leg kick lands there for Mok.

Mok swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mok throws a leg kick which misses Kanehara's front leg but catches the back leg as Kanehara tries to avoid it. Kanehara misses with a two punch combination.

Mok buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kanehara is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mok checks a leg kick. Kanehara swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mok rushes Kanehara and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Mok breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. An inside leg kick lands from Mok. Mok moves into range and clinches up with Kanehara. Mok content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Kanehara throws a combination that misses and Mok counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mok feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kanehara's calf. Mok is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kanehara throws a leg kick and Mok counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kanehara checks a low kick from Mok. Mok throws a leg kick which misses Kanehara's front leg but catches the back leg as Kanehara tries to avoid it. Kanehara looks to land a combination but Mok avoids it well. Kanehara throws a series of punches but Mok moves out of range. Jason Mok is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kanehara fails in his attempt to clinch. Mok dodges the punch combination from Kanehara.

Mok breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A clash of legs there as Mok blocks the low kick. Jason Mok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kanehara moves in looking to clinch but Mok pushes him off. Kanehara is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Kanehara tries to clinch up but Mok circles away and keeps his distance. Mok takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Kanehara moves into the clinch successfully.
Mok breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kanehara throws a leg kick but Mok checks it. Kanehara swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kanehara scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mok doesn't seem bothered though. Kanehara misses with an uppercut
and Mok counters with a thumping low kick. A combination from Kanehara does no damage. Kanehara fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kanehara scoring well with a low kick there.

Mok checks a leg kick. Kanehara feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kanehara slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kanehara shoots in and drives through. Mok sprawls well. Mok lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Akira Kanehara has been cut. Mok moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kanehara swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Mok clinches but Kanehara breaks the clinch and Kanehara counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mok is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mok takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Mok is still on wobbly legs! Can Kanehara finish him? Kanehara throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mok makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Mok showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kanehara.
Kanehara throws a series of punches but Mok moves out of range. Kanehara misses with a wild combination.
Kanehara cracks Mok with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Mok falls to his knees and Kanehara doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Akira Kanehara!
