Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Renton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allard Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Not Afraid. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Renton!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Allard Overeem!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renton throws a hook but Overeem blocks it.
Renton fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Overeem has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Renton finds it's way round the side to connect with Overeem's head.
Renton waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Overeem.
A telegraphed right hand from Renton misses the target.
Overeem throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Overeem takes one to the chin there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Overeem throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Renton.
Renton loads up on a big right hand but Overeem slips the punch.
Renton misses with a two punch combination.
Renton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mark Renton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Renton pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Renton cracks Overeem with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Renton has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Overeem to stand back up!
Overeem is rocked!
No joy there for Overeem, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Overeem is still on wobbly legs! Can Renton finish him?
Overeem pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Overeem looks gassed!
Renton closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Overeem! Renton dives in looking to finish! Overeem is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Renton!
