Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Huggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Disturbed - Down with the sickness . Huggins has chosen My Generation as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gary Simpson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddy Huggins! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Huggins. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Simpson is trying to get back to half guard. Simpson struggling a bit here. Simpson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Simpson is pressing down on Huggins's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Simpson wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Huggins is now in half guard. Simpson is refusing to be controlled, as Huggins sits in half guard.

Huggins tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Simpson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Simpson is looking to get to half guard. Huggins might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Simpson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Simpson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddy Huggins dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Huggins fails with a takedown attempt. Huggins moves forwards but Simpson connects with a nice, crisp jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Huggins slips a jab and a cross from Simpson.

Simpson throws a series of punches but Huggins avoids them all with ease. Huggins fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gary Simpson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Huggins.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Simpson or perhaps it was just good defense by Huggins which made him look bad. Huggins is breathing heavily. Simpson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Simpson misses with a two punch combination.

Simpson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Huggins but Huggins pushes him off and we're back to square one. Simpson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Huggins tries to clinch there but Simpson circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Simpson tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Huggins presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Simpson tries to hold on but Huggins pushes him away. Huggins thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Simpson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Huggins looking to control but Simpson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Simpson working to try and regain half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Simpson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Simpson is in all sorts of trouble here.

A close second round but Freddy Huggins will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Nice uppercut there from Simpson. Simpson scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Simpson looks to land a combination but Huggins avoids it well. Simpson slips a straight right by Huggins. Simpson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Simpson misses with a double jab.
Simpson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Huggins bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Huggins working away. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Huggins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Simpson keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Huggins takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Simpson sneaks back into half guard.

Simpson is not content to let Huggins control the position. Simpson trying to hold on to Huggins's head to control him but Huggins postures up.
Huggins takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Simpson tries to roll over but Huggins keeps him under control.

Gary Simpson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Simpson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Huggins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Huggins's back! Simpson lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

It looks like Freddy Huggins has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Simpson gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Freddy Huggins is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Huggins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Simpson is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Huggins. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
And that's the end of the fight! Gary Simpson showed his dominance in that final round. I think Huggins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
