The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Golota as he connects with a hook.
Golota moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Golota avoids a kick to the body.
A head kick misses from Soaf.
Soaf pivots, looking for a leg kick but Golota is out of range and Soaf settles back down.
Soaf has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Golota looks to land a combination but Soaf avoids it well.
Soaf throws a head kick that Golota semi-blocks.

Soaf takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Golota swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Golota scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Soaf doesn't seem bothered though.

Soaf swats away the attempt to clinch by Golota.
Golota ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Soaf is breathing heavily.
Soaf throws a wild body kick that Golota sees coming a mile off.
Golota dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Golota throws a right and a left that Soaf avoids nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Golota throws a right hand that Soaf ducks under and follows up with a left that Soaf also avoids with ease.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Golota checks a leg kick.
Golota lands a jab to the head.
Soaf takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Golota misses with a double jab.
Golota scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A combination from Golota does no damage.
Golota lands a jab.
Golota rushes Soaf with punches - Soaf moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Soaf goes down! Golota follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
