Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between bo evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Combs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
evans tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
evans tries to close the distance and clinch but Combs swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Combs moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
evans is looking to clinch.

Combs shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in evans's guard.

Combs sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed evans's guard.

Combs stands up and beckons evans to join him on the feet.

Combs tries to free his leg and advance position but evans is retaining full guard.

Let's hope that Combs has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

With the fighters up against the cage, evans throws an elbow but misses.

Combs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Combs postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for evans to stand up.

Combs fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with evans, pushing him back against the cage.

bo evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drake Combs.

Combs gets control of evans's arms and successfully pulls guard. Combs will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
evans could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Combs has his hands on evans's head, controlling the position.
Combs has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Combs.

Combs feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
