Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Humble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Simon Humble! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johny Trejo! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trejo misses with a few strikes there.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Humble is defended easily by Trejo. Humble shoots in and drives through. Trejo sprawls well. Humble gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Humble keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Trejo's efforts to push away. Trejo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Simon Humble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johny Trejo. Trejo fails to pull guard.
Trejo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Humble is defending well for now. Trejo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Humble just stands there and leans against the cage. Humble dodges an elbow strike from Trejo.

Trejo is pressed up against the cage. Humble has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Trejo down to the mat. Trejo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Humble darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Trejo is refusing to be controlled, as Humble sits in half guard. Trejo tries to kick Humble off but Humble keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Trejo trying to hold on to Humble's head to control him but Humble postures up.
Humble is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Trejo missing with punches from the bottom.
Humble is keen to just control but Trejo is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Humble thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Trejo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Trejo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Humble not doing much here.
Humble not landing any meaningful shots this time. Humble throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Humble gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Trejo slows down the pace here.

Trejo wants to stand but Humble has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Trejo trying to control the position from guard on top but Humble is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Humble being controlled here, momentarily. Trejo wants to control from the top but Humble keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Humble is breathing heavily. Humble utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Trejo wants to stand but Humble is controlling his posture from full guard. Trejo wants to control from the top but Humble keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown by Humble or perhaps it was just good defense by Trejo which made him look bad. Trejo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Trejo tries to clinch and Humble counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Humble. Trejo wants to stand up but Humble is controlling him. Trejo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Trejo controlling from the full mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Trejo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Humble is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Humble and Trejo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trejo throwing shots but missing, from side control. You can see the frustration on Humble's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Trejo controlling from side mount. Trejo has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Humble!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Trejo working for a guillotine from mount but Humble is in no mood to give up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trejo trying to control but he's not successful this time. Trejo looking to finish with strikes here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trejo controlling from mount. Let's hope that Trejo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Despite being in the dominant position, Johny Trejo just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Trejo shoots in looking for a takedown. Humble tries to sprawl out of it but Trejo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Humble manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Trejo moves in looking to clinch but Humble pushes him off. Humble stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Humble wants it to stay on the feet. Trejo tries to clinch but Humble moves out of range. Trejo tries to clinch but Humble moves away and Humble counters with a nice leg kick. Trejo closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Simon Humble will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Humble tries to roll over but Trejo keeps him under control. Trejo content to control rather than advance. Humble keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Humble blocking the ground and pound attempt from Trejo. Trejo moves nicely into side control. A lull in the action here. Trejo decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Trejo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Trejo showed some decent athleticism there. Trejo tries to stand but can't do so whilst Humble controls his leg. Trejo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Humble defending well though. Trejo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Trejo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trejo throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Trejo throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Humble because Trejo loaded up on that one. Trejo stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Trejo scores with a jab. Humble acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Trejo connects with a high kick. Trejo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Humble wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Humble is working hard here to advance position. Trejo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Humble defending well though. Trejo is working for a kimura but Humble is defending it quite comfortably.
Simon Humble is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Humble trying to control but Trejo postures up.
