Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Yuudai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanson has chosen I'm Awesome as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yuudai paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Yuudai shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Yuudai rushes Hanson and presses him up against the cage.
Yuudai works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Yuudai is pushing down on Hanson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hanson is fighting to maintain full guard but Yuudai has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hanson won't allow Yuudai to pass to mount.
Hanson is refusing to be controlled, as Yuudai sits in half guard.
Hanson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Yuudai.
Yuudai thows a huge punch but Hanson dodges it nicely.
Yuudai thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Yuudai looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Yuudai tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hanson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hanson tries to clinch up.
Hanson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hanson misses with a two punch combination.
Takeshi Yuudai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yuudai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Yuudai closes the distance and clinches up with Hanson, looking for a takedown. Yuudai pushes Hanson against the cage but Hanson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeshi Yuudai. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yuudai throws a right and a left that Hanson avoids nicely.
Hanson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Yuudai shoots in but no luck this time.
Yuudai fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hanson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yuudai.
Yuudai is breathing heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Yuudai misses with a double jab
and Hanson counters with a low kick, right behind Yuudai 's knee.
Hanson wants to clinch.
Hanson misses with a two punch combination.
Hanson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Yuudai throws a big right hand that misses.
Hanson wants to stand up but Yuudai is controlling him.
Yuudai might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hanson controls Yuudai momentarily but Yuudai frees himself.
Yuudai pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hanson is keeping the position for now.
Yuudai advances position into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hanson is looking for a sweep.
Yuudai wants to control but Hanson is keeping him busy.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Yuudai misses with a hook. Hanson ducked under it nicely.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters circling - Hanson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Yuudai shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Yuudai avoids the attempt from Hanson to control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Yuudai goes for an armbar but Hanson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hanson.
Yuudai is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Yuudai!
Yuudai shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hanson counters with a slapping leg kick.
Yuudai shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hanson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Yuudai thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Yuudai moves into full mount!

Yuudai throwing strikes here but Hanson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Yuudai controlling the pace for now.
Yuudai with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Hanson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Yuudai.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Yuudai stands up from mount. Strange move.

Hanson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hanson tries to clinch up.
Yuudai darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Yuudai is pressing down on Hanson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hanson is holding on for now.
Yuudai is working hard here to advance position.

Hanson is looking to escape.
Yuudai is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Yuudai is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hanson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Yuudai.
Hanson looks like he's trying to stand up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Yuudai is looking to take a break and control but Hanson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Yuudai seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yuudai stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Hanson to get to his feet.
Hanson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takeshi Yuudai dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hanson looks for a takedown but Yuudai sprawls well.
Yuudai decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Yuudai stands up and beckons Hanson to join him on the feet.
Hanson throws a push kick but Yuudai slaps the foot to one side.
Yuudai shoots and misses
and Hanson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Yuudai fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hanson sprawls well initially but Yuudai persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Yuudai is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hanson defends it well.
Yuudai wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hanson keeps working.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hanson is trying to stand back up but Yuudai is controlling him

Hanson is looking to control Yuudai's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hanson avoid being mounted?

Yuudai is working for a submission of some sort.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Yuudai moves nicely into side control.
Yuudai advances nicely into full mount.

Yuudai cracks Hanson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
It looks like Lance Hanson has been cut.

Yuudai jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hanson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hanson and Yuudai has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Yuudai tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Yuudai wants to control but Hanson is keeping him busy.

Yuudai decides to stand back up. Yuudai steps back and let's Hanson get back to his feet.
Lance Hanson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Yuudai will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Yuudai shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hanson's guard.

Yuudai is pushing down on Hanson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hanson is fighting to maintain full guard but Yuudai has managed to sneak the leg through.

Well Yuudai has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
