Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Geist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Peter Parker has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Peter Parker seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Geist! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Geist on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Parker. Parker obviously looking to wear him down.
Geist drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Geist creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Geist landing strikes. Geist scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Parker to see if he's OK. This has been an exciting period of action! Parker regains half guard. Geist throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker tries to kick Geist off but Geist keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Parker missing with punches from the bottom.
Parker wants to get back to his feet.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. That's one minute gone in the round. Geist throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Parker looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Geist is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Geist scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Geist is thwarting Parker's attempts to control the position. Parker is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Geist missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Parker wants to get back to his feet.

Geist stalling away here and it's allowed Parker to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Geist throws a big right hand that misses. Parker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Geist is aware though and is defending well. Geist loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Geist avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Geist stays in close to Parker's body and controls the position. Parker will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Geist postures up and lands a big shot to Parker's brow. Parker tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Geist scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Geist trying to control but Parker is working from the bottom. Parker is trying to control the position but Geist postures up. Parker has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Geist is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Parker. Geist is chipping away with strikes.
Geist cracks Parker with an elbow. That is naaassty. Geist prevents Parker from escaping the position. Geist lands a nice forearm strike. Parker is working to avoid the ground and pound but Geist connects with a decent elbow. Parker is letting Geist control him for a moment. Geist trying to control the action but Parker is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Geist working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The referee asks Geist politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Geist prefers to stall for the moment though. Geist scores with a couple of short elbows. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Geist wants to control but Parker is keeping him busy. Geist tries to advance to mount but Parker denies him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Viktor Geist dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Parker doesn't succeed with the takedown and Geist counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Geist looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Parker actively working from the bottom here. Geist lands with a punch from half guard. Parker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Geist working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Parker is looking to improve his position.
Geist drops an elbow to the side of Parker's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Geist working over Parker with some ground and pound. Parker looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Parker is rocked! Geist lands a big elbow - Parker is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Geist!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viktor Geist!
