The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menjivar misses with a wild combination.
Corley fails to land with a series of punches.
Menjivar takes a kick to the side of the head.
Menjivar lands a nice looking kick to the body. Corley takes a step back to recover.
Corley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Menjivar takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Corley catches Menjivar with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Menjivar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Corley's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Corley has one foot on Menjivar 's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Menjivar avoids the head kick by Corley.
Menjivar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Corley is trying to get back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Menjivar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Corley keeps working.

Menjivar is looking to take a break and control but Corley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Menjivar prevents Corley from escaping the position.

Corley tries to buck Menjivar off but he can't manage it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Menjivar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Corley sprawls well. Corley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Menjivar gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Menjivar or perhaps it was just good defense by Corley which made him look bad.
Corley cracks a nice hook into Menjivar 's ribs.
Corley jabs Menjivar right on the nose. Menjivar blinks but takes it well.
Corley jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Menjivar on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Oh Menjivar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Corley connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Menjivar ! He's out on his feet! Corley rushes in and drops Menjivar with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
