Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Burrhus Frederic Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Palek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palek has chosen Notorious B.I.G - Ready to die as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Burrhus Frederic Skinner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Palek! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Skinner.
Palek tries to score with a low kick but Skinner moves his leg out of the way. Skinner leaves Palek with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Palek dives in and grabs Skinner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Skinner pushes down on Palek's head and hops out. Palek turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Palek misses with a leg kick and Skinner moves into the clinch. Skinner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Palek has his takedown stuffed and Skinner counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Skinner. Burrhus Frederic Skinner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Palek. Skinner stalling in the clinch.
Skinner manages to break the clinch.
Skinner has taken the fight to the clinch.
Skinner prevents the takedown attempt.
Palek wants the takedown. Skinner is fighting it off but Palek persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Skinner's guard against the cage. Skinner keeping full guard, as Palek tries to pass. Palek prevents Skinner from getting back to his feet. Palek must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Palek in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Skinner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Palek is controlling him. Palek lands a couple of digs. Palek with a flurry of punches that miss. Palek stops Skinner from standing up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Palek fails with the takedown and Skinner counters with a head kick. That will keep Palek thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Skinner throws a nice inside leg kick. Palek has his takedown stuffed and Skinner counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Palek is rocked! Palek looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A head kick by Skinner - that's a beauty! Palek is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Skinner can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Burrhus Frederic Skinner!
