Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Quall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quall comes into the arena with Beach Blast blaring out of the sound system. Banner is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: xavier rudd - energy song. James Quall has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bruce Banner!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Quall. Banner does a little dance to reset his feet.

Banner drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Quall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Quall lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
