Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Hillbilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hillbilly kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Love Country Music (And I'd Rather Fight Than Switch). Henry Hillbilly had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Hillbilly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oscar Sanchez! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hillbilly throws a head kick but Sanchez moves out of range.
Hillbilly takes one to the side of the head.
Hillbilly slips a jab and a cross from Sanchez.
Sanchez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hillbilly manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sanchez gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hillbilly is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sanchez stops Hillbilly from standing up. Hillbilly throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hillbilly looking for a guillotine here but Sanchez defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hillbilly is keeping the position for now. Hillbilly working a defensive guard here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sanchez lands with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hillbilly throws a jab but it's blocked by Sanchez. Sanchez shoots in but no luck this time. Hillbilly tries for a takedown but Sanchez circles away easily and Sanchez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Sanchez ducks under a wild hook from Hillbilly. Sanchez slips a jab and a cross from Hillbilly.
Sanchez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hillbilly throws out a powerful jab. Sanchez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hillbilly's half guard. Sanchez thows a huge punch but Hillbilly dodges it nicely.
Sanchez is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sanchez connects with a nice short shot to Hillbilly's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hillbilly looks like he's trying to stand up.

Sanchez working Hillbilly over with strikes. Sanchez working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Hillbilly won't allow Sanchez to pass to mount. Hillbilly manages to escape and get back to his feet! Hillbilly gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sanchez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hillbilly manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sanchez manages to get himself to full guard.
Hillbilly postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sanchez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hillbilly, into his guard. Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Hillbilly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sanchez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oscar Sanchez dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown. Hillbilly tries to sprawl out of it but Sanchez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hillbilly manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Henry Hillbilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hillbilly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Sanchez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hillbilly. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hillbilly pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hillbilly misses with a wild body shot. Sanchez ducks under a wild hook from Hillbilly. Hillbilly pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Sanchez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sanchez wants to clinch up but Hillbilly keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hillbilly throws a good cross that connects.
Hillbilly misses with a straight right. Hillbilly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hillbilly walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. The fight stays on the outside here - Sanchez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sanchez tries to clinch there but Hillbilly circles away.
Hillbilly lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hillbilly misses with a hook. Henry Hillbilly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hillbilly looks to land a left hand but Sanchez moved out of range nicely. Hillbilly takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hillbilly swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hillbilly throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hillbilly with a body punch. A glancing blow. Hillbilly slips under a jab. Hillbilly misses the jab. Hillbilly misses with a looping right. Sanchez blocks a head kick by Hillbilly.
Hillbilly looks to land a combination but Sanchez avoids it well. Sanchez misses with a wild body shot. Hillbilly is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Hillbilly misses with an uppercut. Sanchez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No joy there for Hillbilly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hillbilly will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sanchez connects with a jab. Hillbilly avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sanchez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hillbilly. Hillbilly throws a wild body kick that Sanchez sees coming a mile off. A head kick by Hillbilly misses and Sanchez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice uppercut lands for Sanchez. That snapped Hillbilly's head back.
Hillbilly looks to land a right hand but Sanchez moved out of range. Sanchez tries to clinch up. Hillbilly throws a jab when Sanchez was well out of range. Hillbilly pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sanchez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hillbilly misses with a looping left. Hillbilly stuffs the takedown. Sanchez misses with a looping left. Sanchez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hillbilly was well out of range. Poor timing from Sanchez. Hillbilly stuffs the takedown attempt from Sanchez. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet. Henry Hillbilly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oscar Sanchez. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hillbilly as he jumps to the side. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The referee warns Hillbilly that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sanchez is in the full mount, landing strikes. Sanchez controlling from mount. Hillbilly regains half guard. Oscar Sanchez has got the better of the ground game so far. Hillbilly gets back to full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Henry Hillbilly will probably get the nod. That's time! Hillbilly's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Hillbilly throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sanchez sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hillbilly moves out of range of the strikes. Sanchez misses with a body shot.
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hillbilly paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hillbilly throws a lazy head kick and Sanchez counters with a single leg into guard. Hillbilly didn't expect that. Hillbilly is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sanchez is controlling him. Hillbilly being controlled here, momentarily. Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Hillbilly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sanchez is standing up over Hillbilly. Hillbilly looks to escape but Sanchez dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Hillbilly is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sanchez asserts his dominance and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hillbilly tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Sanchez presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Sanchez trying to control but Hillbilly is having none of it. Sanchez lands a big shot there that rocks Hillbilly but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hillbilly is working to get back to half guard.
Hillbilly bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Sanchez avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hillbilly works over Sanchez with some ground and pound from guard. Sanchez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hillbilly throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hillbilly got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sanchez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hillbilly has managed to get both his arms back between Sanchez's legs - danger averted. Hillbilly thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hillbilly throws a big right hand that misses. Hillbilly wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is keeping the position. Hillbilly throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sanchez works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez pulls Hillbilly in close to prevent any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sanchez takes one on the button. Sanchez slips a jab from Hillbilly. Sanchez scores with a nice strike. Sanchez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hillbilly. Hillbilly scores with a jab to the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hillbilly misses the jab. Sanchez throws a body punch but Hillbilly moves out of range. Hillbilly throws a head kick but Sanchez moves out of range.

The fighters circling - Hillbilly throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hillbilly misses with a straight left. Sanchez drives through with a takedown into guard. Sanchez gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Hillbilly throws a hook to the side of Sanchez's head but Sanchez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sanchez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hillbilly! Sanchez lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that's the end of the fight! Oscar Sanchez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sanchez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
