The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture scoring well with a low kick there.
Couture shoots in for a double leg but Murder sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Couture clinches with his opponent.
Couture throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Couture pulls Murder into guard.
Murder looking to sit in guard and control but Couture gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Couture postures up.
Murder looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Couture puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Murder is looking to escape.
Murder has hold of Couture's hands but Couture slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Couture is keen to just control but Murder is a slippery customer.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Murder can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Couture is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Murder can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Murder tries to lock up and control but Couture gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Couture has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Murder's face.
Murder is working to get back to half guard.

Murder somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

Couture tries for a takedown but Murder sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Murder drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Murder working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Couture doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Murder is tightening it up a little... Couture has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Couture reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Couture taps out! nice BJJ there by Murder!
