Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Inas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Redshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inas's entrance music is Rage Against The Machine: Killing In The Name. A fine choice. Redshaw has chosen Maksim - Flight of the Bumblebee as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oliver Inas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dexter Redshaw! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Redshaw.
Inas misses with a wild combination.
Inas digs a good hook to Redshaw's body.
Redshaw scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Redshaw throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Inas trying to control from the bottom.
Redshaw scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Inas tries to roll over but Redshaw keeps him under control. The fighters are battling for position here. Inas manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Redshaw preventing the sweep. Redshaw controls from within his opponent's guard. Inas is trying to keep Redshaw in close.
Inas wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Redshaw preventing the sweep. Redshaw postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Inas trying to keep a closed guard but Redshaw is proving a slippery customer.
Redshaw sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Inas's guard. Redshaw is nestled in close to Inas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Inas is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Redshaw scores with a couple of nice shots. Inas wants to get back to full guard. Redshaw lands strikes from half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Redshaw lands a nice short elbow. Redshaw has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Redshaw missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Inas gets back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inas wants to sweep but no luck. Inas working a defensive guard here.
Inas tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Inas looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Redshaw puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Redshaw throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Inas wants to improve his position but Redshaw is controlling well.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Redshaw chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A good leg kick by Redshaw. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Redshaw dives in and grabs Inas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Inas pushes down on Redshaw's head and hops out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Redshaw has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Inas finds it's way round the side to connect with Redshaw's head. Redshaw looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Inas tries to roll over but Redshaw keeps him under control. Inas wants to control but Redshaw is keeping busy.
Inas is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Inas is looking to improve his position.
Redshaw slips a nice elbow through Inas's hands, connecting with Inas's forehead. Redshaw tries to pass the half guard into mount. Inas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Redshaw wants to take a breather but Inas is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Redshaw there.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A punch combination from Inas misses. Inas throws a jab when Redshaw was well out of range. Redshaw uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Inas. Inas lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A big right from Inas misses. Redshaw connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Inas takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Inas takes a swing at Redshaw's ribcage but misses. Redshaw closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Redshaw scoring with punches from side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Inas is working to avoid the ground and pound but Redshaw connects with a decent elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Inas taking punishment in the form of punches.
Inas is rocked! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A big shot lands for Redshaw! That's hurt Inas! Will he recover? Redshaw fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dexter Redshaw!
