Adams's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rush - Limelight. Dino Adams has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Hanson! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanson misses with a takedown attempt - Adams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hanson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Hanson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hanson looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Adams is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hanson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Adams looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hanson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hanson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Adams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Adams tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hanson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hanson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Adams is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeff Hanson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
