Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lester Sven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baki Fuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuma fails with a takedown attempt.

Fuma shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fuma showed some decent athleticism there.
Fuma landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Sven is trying to get back to full guard.
Fuma is taking a breather. Sven says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Sven is not content to let Fuma control the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fuma accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sven thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Fuma wants to control from the top but Sven keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sven keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sven is staying active underneath Fuma, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fuma seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Fuma seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sven does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

and Fuma decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sven's guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lester Sven. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sven is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fuma cracks Sven with a big right hand but Sven just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Fuma creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sven sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Sven gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Fuma counters with a shoot takedown. Sven fights it but they end up in guard.
Fuma makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Fuma is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Fuma is working Sven over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Sven knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fuma on the ground.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sven working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fuma doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fuma manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fuma keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sven's head.

Fuma drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Fuma seems to have locked his on tight now - Sven screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Fuma, as he picks up the win!
