Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roby Weeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hammer Nao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Roby Weeks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hammer Nao! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nao shoots in and bounces Weeks off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Weeks looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Nao with a flurry of punches that miss. Nao has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nao works over Weeks with some ground and pound from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Weeks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Nao wants to control from the top but Weeks keeps moving. Nao would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Weeks tries to strike from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nao content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Nao is pushing down on Weeks's leg trying to pass to half guard. Weeks is fighting to maintain full guard but Nao has managed to sneak the leg through. Nao wants to control but Weeks is keeping him busy. Nao takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Nao decides to return to a standing position. Nao is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Weeks darts in trying to clinch and Nao counters with a left and a right that stings Weeks. Weeks rushes Nao and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nao has Weeks pressed against the cage.
Weeks tries for a takedown. No joy.
Weeks can't get the takedown.
Weeks throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Weeks throws a knee to the head but misses.
Nao is trying to break the clinch but Weeks has him pressed against the cage. Nao tries for a takedown but Weeks manages to get underhooks.
Weeks jumps into guard, dragging Nao to the mat.
Weeks wants to sweep here but Nao controlling him for the moment. Weeks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Weeks pulls Nao in close to prevent any damage. Weeks lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Nao!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weeks lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Weeks will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Weeks tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Weeks looking to control but Nao is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Nao can't escape the position.
Weeks is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nao can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Weeks sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Weeks fails to advance to Nao's back. Weeks landing strikes from the mount. Nao working to try and regain half guard.
Nao is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hammer Nao will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Weeks tries for a takedown but Nao circles away easily and Nao counters with a good low kick that Weeks was not able to check. No joy there for Nao, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Weeks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Nao counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Weeks has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Nao lands a jab-cross combination. Nao feints and as Weeks raises his hands in defense, Nao changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Nao sitting in guard, not really doing much. Nao working some strikes from top position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nao decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weeks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Roby Weeks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nao wants to clinch but Weeks slips to the side so Weeks counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Weeks trying to control but Nao is working from the bottom. Weeks is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Weeks gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Nao scores a takedown into full mount! Weeks is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nao trying to control but he's not successful this time. Nao is in the full mount, landing strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Nao lands a big elbow. Hammer Nao has got the better of the ground game so far. Nao can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Weeks is looking to escape. Weeks is looking to improve his position but Nao isn't that keen on the idea. Nao lands a big shot there that rocks Weeks but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Weeks is desperately trying to improve his position but Nao has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weeks tries to lock up and control but Nao gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Nao tries to control but Weeks wriggling away. Weeks throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Nao sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Nao lands a nice shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Weeks keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Weeks is working hard here to advance position. Weeks wants to hold on but Nao pushes him away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nao scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Weeks?
Nao dominating with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hammer Nao showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Weeks. Weeks tries to stand but Nao is controlling his head. Nao manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Weeks is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Weeks falls off balance throwing a combination
and Nao counters with a nice double leg into side control. Weeks won't be happy with that. Nao prevents Weeks from escaping the position. Nao stands up and beckons Weeks to his feet. Weeks tries for a takedown but Nao circles away easily and Nao counters with a straight right hand. Nao's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Nao duly obliges. Weeks wants to clinch but Nao slips to the side and Nao counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nao wants to get up but he can't break Weeks's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weeks can't keep his opponent in guard - Nao advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The fighters are battling for position here. Weeks manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Nao is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Weeks looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Weeks trying to control the position.
Weeks keeping busy on the bottom but Nao has passed one foot through into half guard.
Nao lands with a punch from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weeks wants to get back to full guard. Weeks moves into full guard.
Weeks working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nao. Nao wants to stand and escape but instead Weeks has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Weeks looking to pass the guard. Nao is trying to control the position but Weeks postures up. Nao working for a triangle but Weeks defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nao trying to strike off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Weeks stands and steps away. Nao gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Weeks fails with the takedown and Nao counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Weeks's guard now. Nao scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nao postures up.
Weeks is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Nao thows a big elbow that misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Hammer Nao comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Nao winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
