Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrzej Byku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock has chosen Slayed as his entrance music. Blake Shamrock is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrzej Byku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blake Shamrock!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock scores with a one two! Byku had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Shamrock fails in his attempt to clinch.
Byku fails with a takedown attempt.
Shamrock moves into the clinch successfully.
Byku can't get the takedown.
Shamrock tightens his grip and picks Byku up, before dumping him to the ground. Byku manages to land in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shamrock with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Shamrock throws a strike but Byku rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Byku decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Shamrock tries for a takedown but Byku circles away easily
and Byku decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Shamrock's guard.
Shamrock pulls Byku in to control the position.
Shamrock throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Byku got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shamrock has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Byku has managed to get both his arms back between Shamrock's legs - danger averted.
Shamrock looks gassed!
Byku wants to control from the top but Shamrock keeps moving.
Shamrock tries to strike from the bottom.
Shamrock tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Shamrock throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Shamrock throws a couple of heel strikes.

Byku trying to control the position from guard on top but Shamrock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Shamrock striking off his back but it's not causing Byku any problems.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Shamrock wants to clinch.
Byku scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Shamrock tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shamrock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Byku lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Byku thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Shamrock's head.

Shamrock makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Shamrock.
Shamrock throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Byku tries to free his leg and advance position but Shamrock is retaining full guard.
Shamrock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Byku doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Byku manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Byku wants to stand but Shamrock is controlling his posture from full guard.
Shamrock looking for a triangle here. Byku is fighting it but it looks tight! Shamrock pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Byku is tapping out - this one is all over!
