PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dick Diablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy The Crocodile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diablo comes to the cage accompanied by Motley Crue - Shout At The Devil. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dick Diablo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy The Crocodile!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Crocodile lands a slapping body shot.
The Crocodile ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diablo moves away.
The Crocodile throws a jab but it's blocked by Diablo.

The Crocodile cracks Diablo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Diablo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Crocodile gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The Crocodile drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Diablo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now The Crocodile has Diablo in his guard.

Diablo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but The Crocodile blocks it with crossed arms.

Diablo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Diablo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, The Crocodile has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Diablo but great work by The Crocodile.
