The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hermans has a takedown stuffed.
JONES leaves hermans with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from JONES. No joy for hermans on that attempt.

JONES looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks hermans with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
JONES tries to stand and escape but hermans actually recovers to full guard.
hermans working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. JONES doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. JONES manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

hermans can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as JONES controls the pace.
hermans looking for a triangle here. JONES is fighting it but it looks tight! hermans pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, JONES is tapping out - this one is all over!
