Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ziccardo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ulrich fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ziccardo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ziccardo trying to control the action but Ulrich is working from the bottom.
Ulrich prevents Ziccardo from improving position.
Ulrich tries to buck Ziccardo off but Ziccardo is having none of it.

and Ziccardo counters with a single leg into guard. Ulrich didn't expect that.
Mauro Ziccardo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Ulrich.
Ulrich wants to stand but Ziccardo is controlling the position.
Ziccardo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Ziccardo moves into full mount! Ulrich won't be happy about that!

Ziccardo has his foot on Ulrich's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ulrich works his way back into a safe position though.

Mauro Ziccardo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ulrich is looking to improve his position but Ziccardo isn't that keen on the idea.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mauro Ziccardo will probably get the nod.

Ziccardo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ulrich has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ulrich!
