Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Parker! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Parker. Parker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily. Parker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. James Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephen Parker. Parker shoots in but no luck this time. Jackson has managed to clinch.
Parker working hard to break the clinch. Parker is trying to break free. Parker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Parker breaks the clinch.
Jackson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Parker to the mat! Parker manages to get full guard. Jackson gets to his feet. Parker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Parker lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Parker with a poor takedown and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch. Parker lands a shoulder strike. Parker tries to break free but Jackson pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker tries to break the clinch but Jackson is controlling the position. Jackson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Parker avoids it. Jackson trying to land knees to the body.
Parker tries to circle away but Jackson has him pinned against the cage. Parker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jackson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Parker is defending well for now. Jackson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Parker avoids it. Parker lands a hook that snaps the head of Jackson backwards. Parker managing to block the knees to the body from Jackson.
Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Parker throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jacksons head. Parker manages to break the clinch.
Jackson fails in his attempt to clinch. Parker with a lazy takedown attempt and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jackson. Parker breaks the clinch.
Parker throws a looping overhand right but Jackson ducks down to avoid it. Parker misses with a takedown attempt and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker is trying to break the clinch but Jackson is controlling him. Parker managing to block the knees to the body from Jackson.
Parker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Parker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jackson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Parker's guard. Parker looks gassed! Jackson wants to stand but Parker is controlling his posture from full guard. Parker has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Parker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Parker drops an elbow to the side of Jackson's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson has hold of Parker's hands but Parker slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Parker looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Jackson is trying to stand back up but Parker is controlling him

Jackson is rocked! Parker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Parker lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Jackson! More strikes land and this one is all over! Parker jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
