Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carsten Brian Kassler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carsten Brian Kassler! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels tries to clinch but Kassler moves out of range. Kassler fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Daniels is out of range. Daniels tries to clinch but Kassler is having none of it. Daniels fails with an attempt to clinch.
Daniels will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Daniels tries to clinch but Kassler is having none of it. Daniels is looking to clinch. Kassler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Daniels is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kassler sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kassler swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Daniels had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kassler defends it easily. Daniels escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kassler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Daniels is trying to keep Kassler in close.
Daniels is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kassler stays in close to Daniels's body and controls the position. Kassler wants to control from the top but Daniels keeps moving. Kassler looks gassed! Kassler avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kassler is looking to work some ground and pound but Daniels has wrist control. Kassler slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Daniels wants to control but Kassler postures up. Kassler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daniels. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels being controlled for a moment. Daniels struggling a bit here. Kassler stands up. Daniels fails with the takedown and Kassler counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Daniels! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Daniels. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kassler is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Daniels can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Carsten Brian Kassler dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Daniels tries for a takedown but Kassler circles away easily and Kassler counters with a single leg into guard. Daniels didn't expect that. Daniels is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kassler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daniels swivels though and keeps the full guard. Daniels is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kassler defends well. Kassler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kassler is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kassler stops Daniels from standing up. Kassler controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Daniels looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Daniels is really struggling to control Kassler but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Daniels misses with a takedown and Kassler counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kassler. Daniels being controlled here, momentarily. Daniels has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kassler is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Daniels. Daniels is being controlled here.

Kassler is taking a breather. Daniels says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Daniels works his way to full guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carsten Brian Kassler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Daniels doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kassler counters with a single leg into guard. Daniels didn't expect that. Daniels working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kassler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kassler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kassler trying to control but Daniels is working from the bottom. Kassler not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Despite being in the dominant position, Carsten Brian Kassler just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Daniels wants to clinch. Daniels tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kassler swats him away and circles back towards the center. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kassler wants to control from the top but Daniels keeps moving. Daniels has his feet on Kassler's thighs here. He's pushed Kassler off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kassler screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
