The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daddy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Left hook, right uppercut from Corner.

It looks like Hoosier Daddy has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Daddy.
Corner keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hoosier Daddy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Corner is looking to land body kicks.

Daddy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Corner wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Corner can do anything to dispel that myth.

Daddy drops back looking for a leg! Corner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Corner manages to kick Daddy off! Daddy jumps back into Corner's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Corner is on top in guard.

Daddy is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Corner rolls with it to try and escape but Daddy cranks on the arm and Corner is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
