Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Puma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Maniac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puma comes to the cage accompanied by War Song. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maniac slips under a jab.
Puma moves into range and clinches up with Maniac.
Puma lands a nice elbow.
Puma working hard to break the clinch.
Puma pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Puma rushes Maniac and presses him up against the cage.
Puma breaks from the clinch.
Puma is looking to slow Maniac down with leg kicks.
Puma throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Puma looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Puma lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maniac circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Maniac is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Puma defends well.

Puma throws a right hand that Maniac ducks under and follows up with a left that Maniac also avoids with ease.
Puma tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Maniac moves out of range of the body kick from Puma.

Puma rushes Maniac and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Puma scores a nice knee to the body.
Puma manages to break the clinch.
The crowd cheers as Puma lands an impressive looking overhand right. Maniac doesn't seem phased though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Puma displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Maniac.

Puma rushes Maniac and presses him up against the cage.
Puma pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maniac shoots in for a takedown but Puma shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Puma tries to land a front kick but Maniac steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Puma clinches up with Maniac and pushes him back against the cage.
Maniac drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Puma gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Puma rushes Maniac and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Puma's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Puma misses with a low kick as Maniac jumps back.
Maniac fails with a takedown attempt.

Puma fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Maniac, pushing him back against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Puma throws a push kick but Maniac slaps the foot to one side.
Puma jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Maniac looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Puma is fending him off so far but Maniac persists. Nope, Puma circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnny Puma is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
