The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardim lands a jab to Mitia's midsection.
Cardim takes a swing at Mitia's ribcage but misses.
Cardim lands with an overhand left.

Cardim has managed to clinch.

Cardim's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cardim tries to bum rush Mitia with a series of wild strikes but Mitia uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mitia shoots in but no luck this time.
Mitia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cardim defends it nicely.

Mitia tries for a takedown but Cardim sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Mitia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cardim avoids it really well and circles away.

Mitia is breathing heavily.
Cardim wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Cardim lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Cardim moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Cardim lands with a slapping head kick.
Mitia takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Cardim content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Cardim is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mitia is defending well for now.

Cardim fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Mitia to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Mitia looks to clinch but Cardim throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Mitia taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
