Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Hatcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenneth Knutsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Hatcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenneth Knutsson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knutsson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hatcher pinned against the cage. Hatcher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hatcher throws a series of punches but Knutsson avoids them all with ease. Knutsson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hatcher circles away. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Knutsson. Tommy Hatcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenneth Knutsson. Hatcher moves into the clinch successfully.
Hatcher wants to stall.

Knutsson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Knutsson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hatcher on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hatcher tries to get out of the position. Knutsson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hatcher sees it coming and defends easily. Knutsson is pressing down on Hatcher's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hatcher is holding on for now. Knutsson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hatcher moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hatcher looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Knutsson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hatcher swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hatcher tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Knutsson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hatcher defends it nicely. Knutsson fails with a takedown attempt. Hatcher misses with a series of wild punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatcher is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Knutsson. Nice uppercut lands for Hatcher. That snapped Knutsson's head back.
Hatcher leaves Knutsson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hatcher looks to land a combination. Knutsson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Knutsson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hatcher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Knutsson is looking for a triangle here but Hatcher uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Will he get it? Hatcher is fending him off so far but Knutsson persists. Nope, Hatcher circles away and we're back to standing. No joy there for Knutsson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tommy Hatcher. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hatcher, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
