Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinks gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nevland to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Nevland stops Kinks from standing up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nevland accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kinks is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Nevland wants to control from the top but Kinks keeps moving.
Nevland could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kinks seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Nevland gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Kinks tries to clinch up but Nevland circles away and keeps his distance.
Nevland throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kinks takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Nevland counters with a two punch combo.
Kinks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nevland sprawls well initially but Kinks persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Nevland has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kinks is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kinks has picked Nevland up - he's going for a ride! Kinks dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Kinks is looking to take a break and control but Nevland is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Nevland has one foot on Kinks's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

and Nevland counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kinks won't be happy with that.

Kinks seems a little lost for a moment, as Nevland dominates the positioning.
Nevland wants to control but Kinks is keeping him busy.
The ground and pound from Nevland seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

and Kinks counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Nevland has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kinks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Harold Nevland will probably get the nod.

Kinks bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nevland's guard.

Kinks has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nevland is proving hard to escape from.

Nevland throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Nevland escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kinks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kinks drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nevland dives on top into guard.

Kinks wants to control but Nevland passes easily into half guard.
Nevland is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kinks sees it coming and defends easily.

Nevland looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kinks with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kinks looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nevland tries a head kick but it misses.
Kinks misses with a series of wild punches.
Kinks shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nevland counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
