Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Pepper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Floyd Pepper was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Floyd Pepper! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pepper fails to land with a series of punches.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pepper swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pepper misses with a wild combination.
Pepper slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat. Pepper misses with a straight left. Gracie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Pepper swings for the body but Gracie moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pepper swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Pepper, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pepper throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie. Pepper thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Pepper. Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pepper as he jumps to the side. Pepper's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Pepper duly obliges.
It looks like Mike Gracie has been cut. A big left from Pepper misses. Pepper swings for the body but Gracie moves out of range.
Pepper throws a shot from downtown. Gracie moves away and avoids it. Pepper misses with a two punch combination.
A slow jab from Pepper misses its intended target. Pepper thows a body shot but no joy. Pepper scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Pepper will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gracie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gracie looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Gracie wants to control from the top but Pepper keeps moving. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Pepper is retaining full guard. Gracie trying to control but Pepper is working from the bottom. Gracie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gracie trying to control but Pepper is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pepper looking for a triangle here. Gracie is fighting it but it looks tight! Pepper pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gracie is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Floyd Pepper!
