Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maziko Yugata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Robert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maziko Yugata! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carl Robert! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robert fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yugata avoids it really well and circles away. Robert is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Robert slips a jab from Yugata. Robert shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Robert is taking a breather. Yugata says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Robert frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Robert takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Yugata is trying to reverse the position but instead Robert has taken his back - oops!
That's one minute gone in the round. Yugata tries to escape the position.
Robert is working the ground and pound. Can Yugata escape? Yugata is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Yugata trying to control the action but Robert just sinks the hooks in.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Robert has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Yugata's body.
Robert has Yugata flattened out and is raining down punches. Yugata looking very determined here, making life difficult for Robert.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Robert is hanging on to Yugata's back as he tries to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robert is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Robert's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Yugata trying to control but not successfully. Robert has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Yugata has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Yugata trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yugata tries to escape but Robert has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Robert working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Yugata is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Robert has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Yugata taps out!
