Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Wylde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mendes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to My Way by Limp Bizkit. Daniel Mendes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wylde tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mendes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wylde. Mendes does a little dance to reset his feet.
No joy there for Wylde, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wylde throws a body punch but Mendes moves out of range.
Wylde lands with a cross.
Wylde fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mendes, pushing him back against the ropes.
Wylde tries to circle away but Mendes has him pinned against the ropes.
Wylde struggles to land a body shot inside as Mendes controls his hands.
Mendes is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Wylde is keeping busy.
Wylde working hard to break the clinch.
Mendes tries to throw a body punch but Wylde avoids it by throwing Mendes back against the cage.
Wylde tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Wylde breaks from the clinch.
Wylde closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Wylde looks to land a combination. Mendes sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Mendes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wylde was well out of range. Poor timing from Mendes.
Mendes connects with a jab.

Jonny Wylde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wylde tries to clinch but Mendes moves out of range.
Wylde rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mendes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mendes swats away the attempt to clinch by Wylde.
Mendes wants to clinch up but Wylde keeps it at a distance.

Wylde closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mendes counters with a stiff right hand.
Wylde checks the leg kick nicely there.
Jonny Wylde is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mendes connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Wylde! He's out on his feet! Mendes rushes in and drops Wylde with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
