Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rafel Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Spiegel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spiegel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cowboy bebop theme. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rafel Malik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Spike Spiegel! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malik digs a good body shot into Spiegel's ribs. Malik throws the left hand but Spiegel avoids the punch easily. Spiegel dives in and grabs Malik's left leg, looking for a takedown. Malik pushes down on Spiegel's head and hops out. Spiegel slips a jab from Malik. Spiegel takes one to the side of the head.
Jab from Malik. Malik clobbers Spiegel with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Spiegel is looking to clinch. Rafel Malik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Malik stuffs the takedown attempt from Spiegel. Spiegel gets slowly back to his feet. Malik lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Spiegel fails with a takedown attempt. Rafel Malik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spike Spiegel. A looping hook to the body misses from Malik. Spiegel does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spiegel fails with the takedown. Malik fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Spiegel looks gassed! Spiegel moves forwards but Malik connects with a nice, crisp jab. Spiegel on the wrong end of a nice hook. Malik lands a head kick!
Spiegel is rocked! Spiegel is trying desperately to land a takedown but Malik is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Spiegel. Malik finds Spiegel's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Spiegel flops back against the ropes, eyes gazing into the distance. Malik lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Spiegel will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rafel Malik!
