Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armin Merkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mc Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Merkel comes into the arena with Waidmanns Heil blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Armin Merkel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mc Killer!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Killer.
Killer goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Killer.
Merkel scores with a hook to the body. Killer takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Killer moves in looking to clinch but Merkel pushes him off.
Killer tries to clinch up but Merkel circles away and keeps his distance.
Killer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Merkel lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Killer scoring well with a low kick there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Merkel scores with a nice head shot.
Killer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Killer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Merkel as he jumps to the side.
Armin Merkel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mc Killer.
Merkel smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Mc Killer has been cut.
Merkel throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Killer colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Merkel as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Killer is left battered and dazed whilst Merkel and his camp cheer!
