Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Wired (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karsa Orlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wired comes into the arena with Rocky blaring out of the sound system. Karsa Orlong is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orlong avoids a kick to the body.
Orlong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wired lands a nice leg kick that just misses Orlong's sensitive parts.
Wired doesn't manage to clinch there - Orlong circles away.
Wired changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Orlong looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Orlong gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Wired wants to stand up but Orlong manages to regain full guard.
Orlong is looking to stand up but Wired isn't so interested in that idea.
Wired tries to stand but Orlong is controlling from the bottom.

Orlong closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wired did well to prevent Orlong getting side control.
Wired on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Orlong wants to control but Wired is keeping him busy.
Wired regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Orlong.
Orlong working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Orlong rushes Wired and presses him up against the cage.

A nice combination there by Wired.
Orlong throws a right hand that Wired ducks under and follows up with a left that Wired also avoids with ease.
Orlong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Wired counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Wired breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wired falls off balance throwing a combination
and Orlong counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Wired shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wired showed some decent athleticism there.

That's time! Wired's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Orlong fails to land the takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Orlong.
Wired fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Orlong, pushing him back against the cage.

Orlong clinches but Wired breaks the clinch
and Wired counters with an inside leg kick.
Wired throws a sloppy head kick and Orlong moves out of range easily.
Wired misses with a double jab
and Orlong counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Wired is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Orlong tries to keep at a distance but Wired has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wired breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wired looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wired missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Orlong blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wired.
Wired stops Orlong from getting back to his feet.
Still in half guard, Wired seems content to control.
Wired decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Orlong tries for a takedown but Wired sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rocky Wired has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karsa Orlong.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wired darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Orlong shoots in looking for a takedown. Wired tries to sprawl out of it but Orlong keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wired manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wired shoots in and bounces Orlong off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wired throws a strike but Orlong rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Wired wriggles free and stands up.

Orlong moves into the clinch.
Wired jumps guard and drags Orlong to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Wired is working an open guard so Orlong takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Orlong counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Orlong.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

and Wired makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Wired shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wired was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

and Orlong counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Orlong wants to stand but Wired has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Orlong throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wired works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Orlong looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wired is fending him off so far but Orlong persists. Nope, Wired circles away and we're back to standing.
Wired throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Orlong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Orlong has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Orlong there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wired shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wired was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wired is landing with some decent strikes but Orlong is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

and Wired counters with a shoot takedown. Orlong fights it but they end up in guard.
