Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chance Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randjob Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm comes to the cage accompanied by Your Going Down by Sick Puppies. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chance Storm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randjob Gracie! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking cross lands there for Storm. Storm showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gracie.
Gracie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Storm. Storm with a nice cross. Storm defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie. Storm lands an overhand right. Storm cracks Gracie with a right hand to the side of the head. Storm scores with a three punch combo!
Gracie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Storm manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Storm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Storm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Storm's legs - danger averted. Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Storm is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard. Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Storm can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard. Storm trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Storm is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard. Storm has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Storm looking to pass the guard. Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Storm gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Storm defends well. Gracie looks gassed! Storm thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Storm throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Storm drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Storm off! Storm jumps back into Gracie's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Storm wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie working for a triangle but Storm defends it easily.
Storm is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Storm pushes down on Gracie's leg and manages to get into half guard. Gracie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Storm stopping the sweep attempt from Gracie. Storm working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Storm drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gracie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Storm has Gracie in his guard. Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Storm looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Storm looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Storm! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Storm tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Gracie is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Randjob Gracie will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Storm. Jab from Gracie. Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Storm is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gracie defends well. Gracie scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gracie works a leg free and moves into half guard. Gracie seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Gracie is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Storm reverses the position - he's now on top in Gracie's guard. Gracie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gracie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Storm throwing strikes from guard but Gracie blocks nicely.

He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Storm reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Storm taps out! nice BJJ there by Gracie!
