Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Hornie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Runnin. Roy Hornie has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Diego Mir's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Hornie controlling the position.
Mir wants to stand but Hornie is controlling his posture from full guard.
Hornie tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Mir is looking to stand up but Hornie won't let him.
Hornie has Mir pulled in close to control his posture.
Hornie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mir!
Hornie lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Hornie scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Mir?
Mir is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hornie has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mir's face.
