Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Obor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jericho Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernandez has chosen Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vincent Obor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Jericho Fernandez! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Obor blocks the body kick.
Obor bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Obor advances to full mount. Obor trying to control but he's not successful this time. Obor takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Obor working Fernandez over with strikes here.
It looks like Jericho Fernandez has been cut. Obor sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Obor could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obor jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fernandez manages to avoid the submission attempt. Obor tries to move to mount but Fernandez blocks the move with his legs. Obor creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Obor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fernandez keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fernandez tries to buck Obor off but Obor is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fernandez prevents Obor from improving position. Fernandez is being controlled here. Obor trying to control the action but Fernandez is working from the bottom. Obor stands up and we're back to a striking position. Fernandez throws a nice head kick!
Obor throws a right and a left that Fernandez avoids nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Obor lands in his opponent's guard. Obor is breathing heavily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Obor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Obor wants to control from the top but Fernandez keeps moving. Fernandez is trying to keep Obor in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Obor throws a strike but Fernandez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Fernandez looking to pass the guard. Obor looking to control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nice takedown defense from Obor. No joy for Fernandez on that attempt. Fernandez tries to clinch up but Obor circles away and keeps his distance. Obor keeps the fight on the outside. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vincent Obor dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jericho Fernandez's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Obor shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fernandez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Obor wants to control from the top but Fernandez keeps moving. Obor sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fernandez's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Obor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fernandez keeps working. Obor is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obor is nestled in close to Fernandez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Fernandez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Obor content to control rather than advance. Obor is working for a kimura but Fernandez is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Obor trying to control but Fernandez is working from the bottom. Obor not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Obor's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obor gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Obor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fernandez to the mat! Fernandez manages to get full guard. Obor slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Obor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Obor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fernandez swivels though and keeps the full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Obor distracts Fernandez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vincent Obor dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jericho Fernandez's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Obor trying to control the position but Fernandez is working away. Fernandez is looking for a sweep. Obor working the body and head with strikes. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fernandez is letting Obor control him for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Obor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Obor advances nicely into full mount. Obor controlling from the full mount. Obor working the ground and pound effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Obor tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Obor breaks from Fernandez's wrist control and lands an elbow. Obor gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Vincent Obor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Obor gets a takedown into half guard. Fernandez won't allow Obor to pass to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obor with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Obor seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fernandez for as long as he can get away with. Fernandez gets back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Obor slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Vincent Obor just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Obor is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fernandez's half guard. Obor is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

And that's the end of the fight! Vincent Obor showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Obor, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
