The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz fails to land the takedown.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Duk Dong as he jumps to the side.
Diaz has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Duk Dong.
A solid leg kick lands there for Duk Dong.
Diaz looks to land a body kick but Duk Dong moved away.
Diaz tries to clinch up but Duk Dong circles away and keeps his distance.
Nice takedown defense from Duk Dong. No joy for Diaz on that attempt.
Duk Dong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diaz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Duk Dong somewhat.

Duk Dong goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut.

Duk Dong leaves Diaz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Duk Dong pushes him off.
Whack! Duk Dong lands a heavy head kick that drops Diaz. The ref tackles Duk Dong to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Diaz was done.
