Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Greg St Peter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jesse james (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Greg St Peter has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Greg St Peter seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Greg St Peter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, jesse james! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from St Peter. james does a little dance to reset his feet. james throws the kick towards the body but St Peter avoids it. Excellent takedown into side control there by james. St Peter seems a little lost for a moment, as james dominates the positioning. St Peter is trying to buck james off. james looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. james is trying to get an arm triangle but St Peter is defending well. james postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
St Peter wants to get back to his feet but james drags him back down. St Peter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but james wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. St Peter is trying to buck james off.

james thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. james tries for a kimura but St Peter is defending well. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. St Peter throwing strikes from guard but james blocks nicely.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. St Peter shoots in and drives through. james sprawls well. james pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Both fighters circling a little - St Peter finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. St Peter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than St Peter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! james wants to control but St Peter is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. St Peter trying to control but james is having none of it. james is in a horrible position here. St Peter smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

St Peter moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Greg St Peter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. St Peter shoots for a double leg takedown but james sprawls well. He's pushed St Peter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. St Peter tries to clinch but james moves out of range. james lands a two punch combo.

He's got his arms around St Peter's waist but St Peter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing james off to one side. St Peter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. james defends it nicely. St Peter is looking to take this fight into the clinch. james takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. james gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows St Peter to score an easy takedown into full guard. St Peter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. james striking from his own guard.
