Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bas Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belfort's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Du Hast. Simpson has chosen Disturbed - Down with the sickness as his entrance music. Gary Simpson looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort avoids a punch combination nicely.
Belfort throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Belfort slips a jab and a cross from Simpson.
A good leg kick by Belfort.
Simpson throws a nice looking combination but Belfort bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Some wild striking there from Simpson.
Simpson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Belfort swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Belfort throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Simpson throws a body punch but Belfort moves out of range.
Simpson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Belfort counters with a nice body kick.
Simpson looks gassed!

It looks like Gary Simpson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick by Belfort - that's a beauty! Simpson is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Belfort can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
