Pierre shoots in for a takedown but Sanford shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Pierre fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sanford ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sanford lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Andre Pierre has been cut.

Sanford tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pierre swats him away and circles back towards the center.
