Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Palacios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palacios comes to the ring accompanied by Enter Sandman - Metallica. The key to victory for Oscar Palacios has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Sanderson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palacios lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanderson circles away quickly and effectively. Palacios misses with a hook. Sanderson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Palacios misses with a short punch on the inside. Palacios wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sanderson looking for a takedown. Palacios is trying to break the clinch but Sanderson is controlling him. Palacios is trying to break free. Sanderson prevents Palacios from breaking the clinch. Sanderson blocks the elbow strike.
Sanderson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Palacios's efforts to push away. Palacios misses with a punch on the inside.
Sanderson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Palacios fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sanderson postures up in Palacios's guard and throws a big left but Palacios blocks it. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Palacios throws a right hand that Sanderson ducks under and follows up with a left that Sanderson also avoids with ease. Sanderson slips a jab and a cross from Palacios.
Palacios is breathing heavily. Sanderson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Sanderson has clasped his hands together around Palacios's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Sanderson is putting a hurting on Palacios here, landing some big shots from side control. Sanderson tries to move to mount but Palacios blocks the move with his legs. Palacios pushes Sanderson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sanderson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Palacios might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sanderson thowing shots but they're missing. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

And that's the end of the fight! Johnny Sanderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sanderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
