Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rob Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saw Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson leaves Tate with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Stevenson throws a body punch but Tate moves out of range.
Tate avoids the body shot from Stevenson.
Stevenson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tate.
Stevenson tries to bum rush Tate with a series of wild strikes but Tate uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tate scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Stevenson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Tate tries to move to mount but Stevenson blocks the move with his legs.
Stevenson is looking for a sweep.
Stevenson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Stevenson gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Tate trying to control but Stevenson is having none of it.
Tate cracks Stevenson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The referee warns Stevenson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Tate softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Stevenson is out cold! Tate jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
