Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kareem al Rashid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy has chosen Everclear - The BOYs are back in town as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
al Rashid throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boy avoids the body shot from al Rashid.
Boy blocks a leg kick.
Boy takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
al Rashid scores with a punch to the head.
al Rashid throws a leg kick which misses Boy's front leg but catches the back leg as Boy tries to avoid it.
al Rashid throws the left hand but Boy avoids the punch easily.

al Rashid takes the fight into the clinch.

al Rashid escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
al Rashid lands with a shot to the body.
Boy shoots in and drives through. al Rashid sprawls well.
al Rashid lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Ronny Boy has been cut.

al Rashid throws a jab but it's blocked by Boy.
al Rashid is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boy.
al Rashid misses with a hook. Boy ducked under it nicely.
al Rashid fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
al Rashid throws the left hand but Boy avoids the punch easily.

al Rashid connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Boy shoots for a takedown but al Rashid saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kareem al Rashid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronny Boy.
al Rashid scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Boy doesn't seem bothered though.
Kareem al Rashid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
al Rashid throws a low kick, looking for Boy's leg but Boy calmly moves out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boy crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from al Rashid - the referee stops the clock and Boy gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says al Rashid. Boy manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Boy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? al Rashid is fending him off so far but Boy persists. Nope, al Rashid circles away and we're back to standing.

al Rashid throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
al Rashid misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boy.
al Rashid fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Boy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Boy! al Rashid is hurt baaadly! Boy is firing away with more strikes - al Rashid is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
