Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Mcarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joko Palace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Mcarthy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joko Palace! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcarthy clinches up with Palace and pushes him back against the cage. Mcarthy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mcarthy keeps the fight on the outside. Mcarthy lands a front kick. Mcarthy throws a right and a left that Palace avoids nicely. Mcarthy throws a shot from downtown. Palace moves away and avoids it. Palace closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The strikes coming from Palace are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Palace gets to mount! Mcarthy was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Mcarthy could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Palace misses with a head shot. Mcarthy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Mcarthy is working to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mcarthy tries to lock up and control but Palace gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Mcarthy tries to reverse the position but Palace maintains control. Mcarthy trying desperately to get to his feet.
Mcarthy has given up his back here.
Mcarthy controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Mcarthy is breathing heavily. Palace is trying to stick to Mcarthy's back but Mcarthy is turning into Palace. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Palace's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Mcarthy. Palace managing to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcarthy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Palace has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mcarthy has managed to get both his arms back between Palace's legs - danger averted. Mcarthy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Palace on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palace wants to get back to his feet but Mcarthy is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Palace lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mcarthy!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Mcarthy tries to hold on but Palace pushes him away. Palace looking to ground and pound but Mcarthy is blocking nicely. Mcarthy tries to lock up and control but Palace gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Mcarthy wants to get back to his feet.
Mcarthy avoids a series of strikes thrown by Palace.
Palace misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Mcarthy flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Palace is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mcarthy is surviving well by controlling Palace's body position as best he can. Mcarthy is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Mcarthy is just holding on here. Palace manages to take his back.
Palace controls the action. Mcarthy looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Palace somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joko Palace dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Palace shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mcarthy napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mcarthy is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Palace fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Palace is working to tighten is grip on Mcarthy's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mcarthy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Palace is really squeezing tight and eventually Mcarthy passes out! Palace breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Joko Palace!
